As future doctors we will be required to interpret radiological images, and early exposure to the fundamentals of radiology is crucial. We have decided to start this radiology club in order to empower our students to describe and diagnose a variety of high yield medical images.
Club aims:
1) Providing early exposure to diagnostic imaging, as a natural progression from anatomy;
2) Enabling students to gain a more comprehensive clinical picture and provide improved familiarity with diagnostic and interventional radiology;
3) Organising workshops and seminars to teach the practical application of diagnostic imaging, and how radiology forms part of the multidisciplinary team; and
4) Working in partnership with our radiology lecturers and other radiologists affiliated with the school.
