Plastic surgery is a broad specialty that does not only include aesthetic or cosmetic surgery, but treats patients with diseases ranging from congenital anomalies, to cancer, trauma and degenerative and inflammatory diseases. It could be divided to two categories: reconstructive surgery and cosmetic surgery. Reconstructive surgery focuses on reconstructing part of the body to improve its function, whereas Aesthetic surgery improves the physical appearance of it. Our aim is to attract interested students in this fascinating field and provide our members with the opportunity to learn more about plastic surgery subdisciplines by arranging webinars, panel discussion, having professional doctors as guest speakers from all over the world and opening the doors for shadowing opportunities, too.
