Endocrinology is a speciality of medicine that encompasses a wide range of systems which secrete hormones, such as thyroid conditions, pituitary conditions, diabetes, reproductive problems, obesity and bone problems. Endocrinology is a unique and fast-evolving speciality which offers numerous clinical and research opportunities.

The aims of this club include:

-To facilitate learning of all things endocrine through all disciplines (i.e. physiology, pathology and pharmacology). This will be achieved through guided tutorials, events and informative posts.

-To increase exposure and promote Endocrinology as a speciality.

-To highlight the importance of considering endocrine causes when constructing a differential diagnosis for patients, as endocrinology-based diagnoses can often be neglected or missed.

-To allow those with a keen interest in endocrinology to learn more about a career in the field.
